I don't have lots of fancy equipment, can I still make a good film?

Absolutely. Honestly, we have seen amazing films made with little more than a cell phone or a digital camera. The trick is to choose your story carefully and use your equipment effectively - we can help you with both.

Do I need to bring any equipment to the class?

No. Our studio is fully equipped.

Is your equipment available for rent?

Are you available for hire as a director, cinematographer, sound man, editor, etc.?

Are you available to come speak at our school?

Yes. We have run mini-programs for several schools in New Jersey.

Can I take the same class over again?

Yes. While we will touch on many of the same concepts, we work with new scripts and new challenges in every class. Additionally, each time you take a class, your focus might be a little different: writing, acting, sound, lighting, directing, etc.

Do you offer one on one sessions?

Yes. We offer a wide variety of individual sessions for Final Cut Pro, Motion, Soundtrack Pro, Script Analysis, Acting, Directing, and more. All sessions are customized for your individual needs. Please contact us to learn more.

Can I cancel my class registration?

Yes. For a refund (minus any PayPal fees) of any class registration, please contact us at least one week before the class begins.

Will you notify us if class is canceled?

If NJ Film School has to cancel a class due to inclement weather or other emergencies, we will post an announcement on our home page. In the event that a class is canceled, we will add an additional class after the last week.
