Can I schedule a tour of the school?
We love to give tours of the school and answer questions in person. Please contact us to schedule a date and time.


Do I need to bring any equipment to the class and are there any additional costs?
No. Our studio is fully equipped and there are no hidden costs.


Will you notify us if class is canceled?
If we have to cancel a class due to inclement weather or other emergencies, we will contact each student through email. In the event that a class is canceled, we will add an additional class after the last week.


Can I transfer my registration to another class or season?
No. A registration must be used for the student, class, and season originally enrolled.


Can I cancel my class registration?
For a refund of any class registration (minus a 10% cancellation fee), contact us at least three weeks before class begins (or before June 1 for summer camps).

Do you offer one-on-one sessions?
Yes. We offer individual sessions for Editing (Final Cut Pro), Script Analysis, Directing, and more. All sessions are customized for your individual needs.


Do you have a program for Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts?
Yes. We have a two hour hands-on class for up to 12 scouts that teaches the basics of filmmaking.

Are you available to come speak at our library, school, or community group?
Yes. We offer a series of lectures that we can run at your location.


What are NJ Film Meetups?
Offered three times a year, the Meetup is a chance for local filmmakers, screenwriters, actors, editors, etc. to connect with each other. It is free, open to Adults and Teens (of all skill levels), and you do not need to be a current or former NJFS student to attend - all are welcome!
